Our History
It all started during the 1970s when a group of us were sitting in our garage waiting for the arrival of a moving company to deliver our belongings from one place to another. Our experience with this once reputable company was not positive at all. They were late, extremely pushy, unkind and seemed like they just wanted our money. Overall, we would give them about a 3/10 if we were to rate their service. One of our family members then said, “We should have done this ourselves!”
How We Started
After hearing the above statement from one of our family members, we thought he was joking. How could we start a moving company from bottom up? What experience do we have? Well, taking into consideration that the amount of moving companies in Toronto grows in number each year, we did everything we could so that we could stand out and on top of the crowd. We took a number of training courses, certified our business, bought 2 trucks and then began to advertise once we felt we were ready. Our very first customer called us in 1975 and that is when we started this now successful company. We will never forget how ecstatic that customer was with our diligence, customer service and timeliness.
Above anything else, we were and still are focused on providing our customers with an excellent experience that they will not forget. Needless to say, that customer referred us to someone and the cycle continued. Do the increase in revenue, we ended up saving enough money to print a few flyers and hand them out within the local community. With every call, there was a huge smile on our faces. The smile remained because we were so happy to get the opportunity to make another local resident happy.
From the very beginning, we have had the same goals and morals. We continue to focus on what matters to you, our customer. Our movers understood how much we cared, and so they showed the same amount of care. Many workers will mimic what they are taught, and for that very reason, we continue to train our workers to be kind, patient, on time and very friendly.
Receiving horrible customer service during the time we moved was what drove us to start our very own moving company. Back then, we were known as the best and more courteous movers in town. Now, we are known as that and so much more! Starting a moving company was not easy because we did not come from much. We really just had a vision, a few bucks and a strong heart!
